It's UTRAN and GERAN. Or UMTS and GSM/EDGE.It keeps the terms in the same domain.

What are the various plugs that are seen going in the phone on the shots? One on the side, one on the top, and even something weird on the back?phoenix_rizzen - Tuesday, February 28, 2012 - link
My guess, based on 2011 Xperia phones:Top is the headphone jack.
Side is the mini-HDMI jack.
Back is the "don't steal this" cable, generally used in cell phone stores. :)
